What are Teaching Excellence Seminars?
Teaching Excellence Seminars (TES) is a series of on-line meetings, developed at Wroclaw
Tech. Experienced academics, researchers and people responsible for teaching quality
introduce their audience to excellent examples of effective teaching practices. Basing on
above meetings, one of TES goals is to encourage academic teachers to reflect on their
philosophy of teaching, learn about different possible solutions of teaching problems,
combine with own principles and concepts while maintaining meaning and significance for
students. However, meanings and significances might be other in multicultural and
multilinguistic Europe, therefore TES aims to go beyond teaching methods of specific
subject. TES invites to reflect upon the universality of problems including the issue of
sustainable development, digital and green transformation or building inclusive community.
