In this virtual group consultation, we will reflect on the challenging situations that participants typically experience in their teaching contexts involving international students. Together as a group, our aim will be to develop possible solutions.
Learning outcomes
•Have
developed strategies to overcome challenges typical of teaching situations
involving international students as well as arising between local and
international students
•Have
gained insight into interculturally varying perspectives
•Have
experienced the method of peer consultation as a means to develop and improve
teaching in their own department
Activities
Each participant brings their own question / case into the group and we choose three that we would like to brainstorm about.
